 Leno has been working on the Mercedes Benz vehicles since 1956. Studied auto mechanics in his hometown of Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina then Jugoslavia. Immigrated to the United States in 1967 and was employed with Hollywood Mercedes and then Auto Stiegler. He opened his first business in 1970 in the Van Nuys area of the San Fernando Valley. Started visiting the Coachella Valley in the late 70's and purchased a second home there. Sold his business in 1988 and moved to Rancho Mirage. Saw an opportunity to help Mercedes owners and with his wife opened Lino's in Palm Desert.
